About Innovation Management System
The Open and Distance Learning System (ODL) system faces many challenges in its mission to provide education for all. The challenges are chiefly related to quality, access and equity. Innovations and ideas are vital for developing solutions to meet these challenges. It is important that the new ideas are collected and managed in an effective manner so that these could be utilized for implementation, upgradation, reference, and also for generating new innovations in the ODL system. The Innovation Management System (IMS) is a mechanism developed at NCIDE to manage new ideas and innovations. It is an online platform for innovators (teachers, learners, others) to interact and share their nascent ideas and develop their projects. The IMS functions by capturing ideas, adding value to them, and providing innovative solutions, based on these ideas, to the Open and Distance Learning (ODL) system.
